Market State is the core read of Pudzee Copilot. It synthesizes multiple real-time market inputs into a single directional assessment that updates every minute during market hours.
What you see
A large state label at the top of the Copilot Panel:
| State | Color | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| BULLISH | Green | Near-term flow currently aligns with upside pressure |
| BEARISH | Red | Near-term flow currently aligns with downside pressure |
| TRANSITION | Amber | Control is shifting - direction is not settled yet |
| NEUTRAL | Gray | No clear dominance - conditions are mixed or quiet |
Below the state label:
- Confidence - A score indicating how strongly the current inputs align with the stated direction.
- Headline - A short text summary of the current read and what is driving it.
- Timestamp - When the state was last evaluated.
How to use it as a trader
1. Confirm your thesis
You have a long setup. Market State reads BULLISH. The broad flow environment aligns with your direction. Trade with your normal sizing.
2. Identify conflict
You have a long setup. Market State reads BEARISH. The environment does not support your direction. It does not mean your trade cannot work, but it may justify more selectivity.
3. Recognize when there is no directional edge
Market State reads TRANSITION or NEUTRAL. The inputs are not strongly aligned in either direction. Your setup has to stand on its own.
4. Watch for shifts
A change from BULLISH to TRANSITION may indicate a trend losing momentum. A change from NEUTRAL to BEARISH may signal a new directional move developing. Use these transitions as awareness triggers, not auto-signals.
Important notes
- Market State is a read on current conditions, not a prediction engine.
- The state updates once per minute and is designed to resist noise and constant flip-flopping.
- High confidence means stronger alignment across inputs, not certainty.
- Market State is most useful when combined with Live Trades, the Execution Map, Trade Desk Insights, Market Internals, and Options Flow.
